A Called It :3

So the end is near..or here as you can put it. At this point in on reading A Child Called It by David Peltzer is the most traumatizing and haunting story I have ever read. This has changed my prospect on child abuse. David has endured literally hell on earth from his wicked mother, a cowardly father and a hench men of siblings.  And the people living in his neighborhood of Daily City who knew the situation and literally just did nothing. As I related in the book, it showed more and more of Davids will to live. The base problem was of his mothers BPD, alcoholism, and her postpartum syndrome probably from childbirth. You might be thinking oh wow childbirth really? Yes really postpartum is where the mother wants to hurt herself or in main cases her child. But under these conditions with her BPD and her un-functional mental state, you lead to her insanity and abuse on David. I don’t understand how when she had her baby the alcohol in her system and the crazy mental state she was in didn’t effect her in the hospital. Wouldn’t it of just been obvious for those who did blood screening to notice the amount of alcohol consumed? But we also know that from there, you notice from a short notice she is already home. Maybe the lack of medical attention caused more distress. But we also know that Davids mom became and alcoholic when she was 13 because her family was Mormons and she became a outcast and her parents locked her in the closet and starved her too. And as David explains in his Epilogue that abuse becomes a vicious cycle in which it is passed on. Yet this demented crazy mother lived to be almost 77! How is that possible! Well I’m pretty sure karma will get to her in her  next life. Overall from every beat, smack, burn, torture, starvation method, poisoning this kid has survived the worse. Just remeber to always be lucky for what you have, even to be alive.  Also abuse is very serious so don’t take it lightly. Overall I highly recommend this book to the world!
